BETA Technologies conducted an operational demonstration of its ALIA electric aircraft in Kitakyushu, Japan, in partnership with Sojitz Corporation and Yamato, showcasing the platform’s capabilities across different operational environments.
The demonstration highlighted ALIA’s performance under real-world regional conditions, emphasizing potential applications in cargo transport, logistics, regional mobility, and future advanced air mobility operations.
According to BETA, the flight campaign is part of the company’s strategy to validate the aircraft’s versatility in international markets and demonstrate how electric aviation can integrate into a wide range of transportation networks and operational use cases.
The company continues to conduct flight demonstrations and evaluations worldwide as it advances the development, certification, and commercial deployment of the ALIA platform. BETA believes these operations provide valuable operational data while supporting future commercial adoption of electric aviation technologies.
