Dragale Aviation has announced the launch of the DRAG V-16, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed to support future medical air logistics operations by enabling rapid transportation of critical healthcare supplies between medical facilities.
According to the company, the DRAG V-16 is intended to transport time-sensitive medical cargo, including blood samples, medications, vaccines, and diagnostic materials, using direct aerial routes to reduce delivery times and lessen reliance on conventional road transport.
Dragale Aviation stated that integrating UAV technology into healthcare logistics could improve operational efficiency and enhance access to essential medical supplies, particularly in remote areas or emergency situations.
The company noted that the introduction of the DRAG V-16 aligns with its broader strategy to advance unmanned aviation solutions for healthcare applications and support the development of faster, smarter, and more accessible medical air mobility systems.
While the platform is still in the early stages of deployment, Dragale believes the DRAG V-16 represents an important step toward the next generation of drone-enabled medical logistics.
