FlyNow Aviation has outlined its vision for integrating the eCopter into Saudi Arabia's Advanced Air Mobility ecosystem, supporting the Kingdom's Vision 2030 objectives for aviation, tourism, and connectivity.
The company noted that Saudi Arabia aims to handle 330 million airport passengers, connect more than 250 global destinations, and welcome 150 million visitors annually by 2030. According to FlyNow, achieving this growth will require new transportation solutions that complement existing airport and road infrastructure.
As part of its proposal, FlyNow plans to deploy its eCopter, an electric aircraft designed to operate on predefined routes connecting airports, city centers, business districts, and tourism destinations.
The company estimates that a journey currently requiring approximately 40 minutes by road could be completed in around 12 minutes through direct air transportation.
FlyNow stated that its deployment strategy will begin with controlled testing environments, followed by cargo and firefighting operations before eventually introducing passenger transport services.
The initiative forms part of the company's broader effort to develop electric air mobility solutions capable of improving regional and urban connectivity.
