Volocopter is a German eVTOL pioneer developing the VoloCity, an 18-rotor two-seat autonomous air taxi. After filing for insolvency in December 2024, the company was acquired by Diamond Aircraft (Wanfeng subsidiary) in March 2025 for approximately €10M. Volocopter continues VoloCity EASA certification efforts from its headquarters in Bruchsal, Germany.
