YASA develops high power density axial flux electric motors and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz. Originally developed at Oxford University, YASA's motors are used in the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar and are being evaluated for electric aviation applications where compact, powerful motors are critical.
