Sarla Aviation and Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL) continue to strengthen their strategic alliance following the signing of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), now moving into a phase of technical and operational work for the deployment of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in Bengaluru.
During a recent visit by the BIAL team to Sarla Aviation’s new headquarters, both organizations moved from the formal intent stage to working sessions focused on execution. Discussions centered on infrastructure planning, airside integration, defining operational concepts, and structuring clear implementation paths.
As AAM begins to take shape in India, coordination between eVTOL aircraft manufacturers and airport ecosystems is critical. Key areas of focus include:
- Strategic location of vertiports
- Airspace coordination
- Operational safety frameworks
- Efficient passenger flow
- Regulatory alignment
This collaboration reflects a technical, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach, aiming to build tangible capabilities that will enable advanced air mobility operations in Bengaluru.
