Vertical Aerospace continues testing its eVTOL

Vertical Aerospace has ramped up activities at its Flight Test Center, advancing the testing phases of its VX4 prototype. In September 2024, they completed Phase 1, which included tethered piloted flights and ground tests. Subsequently, in January 2025, they conducted piloted flight maneuvers in Phase 2, evaluating the stability and control of the VX4. They are currently preparing for Phase 3, which involves wing-supported flight tests, bringing them closer to certification and commercial operation of this electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
