Wisk and its Gen 6 eVTOL make history by becoming the first eVTOL vehicles to join the Smithsonian Institution's collection.

Wisk has become a landmark in advanced aviation, being the first company to have eVTOL aircraft displayed in the Smithsonian Institution’s permanent collection. These include its full-scale Gen 3 aircraft and a subscale model of the Gen 6, both of which are already part of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia.
The Gen 3, which made its first flight in 2016, was instrumental in the development of autonomous flight technologies. It was also the first eVTOL to complete a piloted transition between hover and cruise, marking a milestone in the evolution of urban air mobility.
Both aircraft can be visited at the museum, which is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
