JetZero Secures $175 Million in Series B Funding to Accelerate Next-Generation Aircraft

JetZero (United States) announced the closing of a Series B funding round of approximately $175 million, led by B Capital, with participation from United Airlines Ventures, Northrop Grumman, RTX Ventures, 3M Ventures, and Trucks VC, among other strategic investors.
The capital will accelerate the development of JetZero’s full-scale demonstrator, a prototype based on a blended wing body design that promises at least 30% greater aerodynamic efficiency compared to traditional tube-and-wing aircraft. The first flight is planned for 2027.
With this round, JetZero surpasses $1 billion in raised and committed capital, including government grants, incentives, and commercial agreements, reinforcing its position as one of the most ambitious projects in next-generation aeronautical innovation.
The backing of airlines, aerospace manufacturers, and venture capital funds reflects a clear commitment to solutions that reduce fuel consumption, emissions, and operating costs, while improving the passenger experience and strengthening advanced manufacturing in the United States.
