Skyports and Abu Dhabi Airports Launch Commercial Vertiport Network in the Emirate

Abu Dhabi, November 11, 2025 – Skyports Infrastructure, a global leader in vertiport infrastructure for the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry, announced, together with Abu Dhabi Airports, the development of a commercial vertiport network in the emirate, laying the foundation for the future deployment of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
The announcement was made during DriftX Abu Dhabi, where both entities confirmed the construction of two initial vertiports at Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Al Bateen Executive Airport (AZI). Construction is already underway and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2026, as part of a plan to create more than ten vertiports across the emirate.
In this collaboration, Skyports will contribute its global expertise in the design, engineering, and operation of vertiports, while Abu Dhabi Airports will lead the integration of the facilities with airport services. Both organizations will work together on passenger services, cargo management, security, and connections with future eVTOL operators.
