Terra Drone Corporation announced the consolidation of Ukrainian company WinnyLab LLC as a subsidiary following the acquisition of a 50% stake through Terra Defense Europe, its European base in Estonia. The move makes Terra Drone the largest shareholder and expands its presence in the defense drone sector.
WinnyLab specializes in the development of fixed-wing interceptor drones designed to address a wide range of aerial threats, including long-range unmanned aircraft. The company's systems emphasize endurance, speed, and operational coverage, capabilities developed and validated under real-world conditions in Ukraine.
The acquisition follows Terra Drone's strategic investment in WinnyLab announced in April 2026. Since then, the companies have collaborated on the development and evaluation of the Terra A2 interceptor drone. According to Terra Drone, operational deployments of the system began in Ukraine in May 2026 to assess its performance in real-world air defense scenarios.
In addition to WinnyLab, Terra Drone also announced the consolidation of Amazing Drones, another Ukrainian drone company developing interceptor systems, including the short-range Terra A1 platform.
The company stated that the strategy aims to build a layered defense solution capable of addressing increasingly diverse aerial threats while leveraging operational experience gained in active environments to accelerate technology development and global expansion.
